Stanbic IBTC Leaders learn a few more lessons in leadership

In the second week in May 2011, clusters of leaders within the Stanbic IBTC Group spent a couple of days each at the Lekki Waterside Hotel, not just to enjoy the sweet Lekki breeze, or check out the new Lekki Bridge, but indeed to learn some lessons in leadership. Gbitse Barrow and Nike Oni of Learning Impact NG were on hand to facilitate the sessions that focused on building trust and personal accountability as leaders as well as communicating with Impact. the Participanst also got the unique opportunity to have Past presidential Aspirant, and founder of the Lagos Business School, Professor Pat Utomi to share from his bounty of knowledge on the subject of Learning to Lead. We cannot forget quickly the Discriminant Operant Model of Instrumental Conditioning ( Eye Service) or the Service vs Competence Matrix that the Prof shared with us. We already got some positive feedback about the application of the Sitruation-Behaviour-Impact Model for giving feedback which one of the participants tried out back at work with resounding results. The John Maxwell Leadership Train debuts in Lagos, Nigeria

The John Maxwell Open Programmes made its debut in Lagos with quite a bang in Lagos in early May with two fully subscribed workshops at the serene Daisy Management Center in the middle of bustling Victoria Island. The two workshops on Winning with People and Developing the Leader within You had participants drawn from  the banking industry, capital markets, the insurance industry, logistics as well as owner managers of some leading business concerns within the Lagos metropolis. Abuja Leaders learn about the 5 Levels of leadership and much more

For its second time running in consecutive quarters, Learning Impact NG delivered its John C Maxwell Leadership Development Workshop - Developing the Leader Within You in Abuja to a group of business leaders and professionals from different parts of Abuja, and other States of the Federation. The 2 Day workshop held in late April, and was facilitated by Learning Impact NG's Team consisting Gbitse Barrow & Dennis Odeigah. Participants included Broadcast Media Practitioners, Management Consultants, Estate Surveyors,Telecomms Industry Leaders, bankers and financial industry professionals, aviation industry professionals, logistics service providers as well as owner-managers of leading companies within the FCT. The participants learned that to grow as leaders by building Relationships, producing Results and Reproducing and Developing more leaders.
